Ryan caught his first swarm of bees out of a tree about ten years ago and has been fascinated with these important little pollinators ever since! 

We realised that there was a shortage of bees to pollinate food crops and as a result, we now have several hundred hives that go to work every spring and summer around Northern Tasmania.

Pollinating a variety of crops gives us different honey varieties, each with their own unique characteristics. Our honey is only available in small batches and is always raw honey that has had the absolute minimum of handling to retain its natural goodness!
